Introducción a la relatividad general. (Spanish) 
La teoria de la relatividad es uno de los mayores logros de la ciencia. La relatividad especial , que no incluye la gravedad, fue desarrollada por Einstein en 1905, y sus resultados son asombrosos como por ejemplo que la velocidad de la luz en el vacio es la misma para todos los observadores, lo que obligó a abandonar la idea de un tiempo absoluto. Unos 10 años mas tarde Einstein desarrolla la relatividad generalque ya incluye la gravedad como la distorsion del tejido espacio-temporal por la presencia de materia, algo que se resume en la famosa frase la materia dice al espacio como curvarse y el espacio dice a la materia como moverse.

Optimal pulse for orbital reconstruction from ionization maps in aligned molecules
We perform ab initio calculations on the total ionization probability of diatomic molecules in strong laser fields as a function of alignment angle, the angle between the laser polarization and the molecular axis, with the goal of investigating whether these ionization maps can be used to determine the orbital symmetry of the initial state. We find that the ionization rate for each alignment angle is highly dependent on the pulse intensity and duration and, because of this dependence, the orbital symmetry can only be determined with the appropriate pulse parameters. The pulse length and intensity need to be chosen in such a way as to avoid excessive ionization, or significant population of other bound states. We also observe that the internuclear separation of the molecule strongly affects the mapping of the orbital symmetries.

Synthesis. Cosmological constant, Dark Matter, Dark Energy. We can nowadays measure that our universe is expanding in an accelerated way. The reason of this accelerated expansion is still unknown, but there are some really interesting theories that try to explain this fact. One of them is the thory of the cosmological constant. Other models set this constant to zero and try to justify the expansion using the concept of Dark Energy. Dark Matter is also a big question for today's physics. We can measure that the mass in the universe is greater than the one observed. This extra-mass that only interacts through gravity and weak force is called DM and is, in some models, coupled to DE.

Synthesis of String Cosmology In the theory of inflation we have studied solutions for scalar elds at really high energies. In some cases like the chaotic infl ation, the energy of the scalar eld was of the order of the Planck mass. In other theories such as the theory of topological defects, the value of the symmetry breaking scale was also of the order or greater then the Planck mass, and in the majority of models of in ation the variation of the infl aton between the creation of the CMB and the end of infl ation was greater than the Planck mass. This suggests that the real physics of this phenomena could be explained by a full UV theory that includes quantum gravity, such as string theory.

Synthesis. Ekpyrotic universe The cyclic model is based in a period of slow contraction rather than the infl ationary short period of fast expansion, preceding a bounce to an expanding phase that leads to the universe we see today. This model does not only solve the isotropy/fl atness/homogeneity/scale invariant problem but it also gives possible explanations to dark matter and dark energy, and also solves the trans-Planckian problem. Another advantage of this model is that it has a direct higher dimensional interpretation, consisting in a periodic (or at least almost periodic) interactions of two branes in a 5D braneworld.

Synthesis. Alternatives to Inflation Standard Big Bang cosmology generates two problems called the Horizon and Flatness Problem. Inflation was able to solve these problems. However, Inflation presents other problems such as the trans-Planckian problem or the lack of a known good candidate for the inflaton. The models of bouncing cosmologies or string gases try to address these problems.

Synthesis of Preheating In the last synthesis we have studied and used the theory of inflation, that has solved problems that were present in the theory of standard big bang cosmology. We were able to explain anisotropies and inhomogeneities of the universe, we also solved the flatness problem and the horizon problem. However, in the model of inflation we were assuming that the universe was empty of any kind of particles. Only the inflaton field was present. As the universe is lled with matter nowadays, there must be a mechanism that allows the creation of particles after the process of inflation. This can be obtained by a coupling between the standard model of particles and the inflaton field, so that the inflaton energy is transferred to the standard model generating the creation of particles.
